Insulation - SolarGuard™
SolarGuard™ Reflective Insulation – SolarGuard employs patented
technology to address all three models of heat loss/gain:
radiation, conduction and convection. Approximately 75% of total
heat transfer in a building occurs through radiation –
SolarGuard can reflect up to 97% of radiant energy striking it.
SolarGuard Reflective Insulation has a layer of fiberglass
insulation sandwiched between two foil facings. Its many
applications include underneath the roof deck, on kneewalls, on
basement walls, and underneath fiberglass batts in the walls.
